Avier Christian, Jerson Mejia, Jamoy Stevens, and Tevaughn Harriette have all worn the Columbia Blue and Black of the Victory. S2 open tryouts saw all four players make it past the first round and called back for the final 40 the next day.

The players will be notified by email this week on how they did.

“Last weekend was exciting for us as an organization to see some of our former players have success at the next level,” says Victory owner Barrett Goddard. “All four players showed well at the Sounders 2 tryouts. Whether they make the team or not, it is great to see that Vancouver Victory FC is developing players and giving them opportunities at new levels.”

Jamoy Stevens is part of the Victory connection to Antigua and Barbuda. He’s is still in the area as he is heading to Salem for a work out with former Victory head coach Aaron Lewis and the Portland Timbers U23 on Thursday. Then he will go back to Antigua and play for his home club the Green Bay Hoppers. They are the defending champions in the Antiguan premier league.

After this visit I will head back home to finish out my season with my home club but I’m hoping to come back up here and be near my younger brother as he plays for S2.”
