Position: Marketing Intern – Looking for an intern to work with our club for the remaining 2016 season. The season will run unitl the end of July 2016. Immediate opening.

The Team – Vancouver Victory FC (V2FC) is in its third season as a fourth division soccer club in the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) soccer tier playing minor league soccer in the Evergreen Premier League Washington (EPLWA).

Duties – Perfom any and all marketing duties for the team in the upcoming season. These duties include being a liaison between the team and all marketing/sales outlets and other revenue streams for the team, working with the team’s personnel to ensure marketing materials are updated and current, generating and distributing all necessary marketing materials and information where needed, understainding and embracing the teams revenue goals and helping the team to achieve those goals through marketing, ticket sales, corporate sales and mercahndise sales. Additionally, responsible for game marketing at the stadium before, during and after matches. This will include meeting with fans and sponsors during home matches, continuing to market the team and assisting the Director of Operations with any necessary game day tasks required to ensure the match is professionally run. There are eight home matches most on weekends or evenings. Attendance for our home matches is mandatory. Due to the nature of sporting events this may require 6-7 day a week during the season. This is a 40 hour a week position.

Compensation – This is an unpaid internship. V2FC will provide the intern with team gear, admin support and coordinate with their respective institutions of higher learning as needed to help the intern meet their educational requirements for their internship. Additionally, the intern will have an opportunity to earn commission on any ticket sales or corporate sales they generate.

Requirements: Looking for a person who lives in the Vancouver/Portland area or has the capability to live here during the seaon. Must be in their junior year of college or greater in their educational pursuit. Ideally someone interested in Marketing, Sales or a Sport Business related field.

Additionally, responsible for game day preparation and execution at the venue before, during and after matches. This will include assiting the Director of Operations, coordinating personnel, hosting the visiting teams, managing the locker rooms and ensuring the officiating crew is assited where needed. There are 6-7 home matches most on weekends or evenings. Attendance for our home matches is mandatory. Due to the nature of sporting events this may require 6-7 day a week during the season. This is a 40 hour a week position.

Evergreen Premier League Washington (EPLWA).

Duties – Perfom any and all public relations duties for the team in the upcoming season. These

duties include being a liaison between the team and all media, working with the team’s personnel

to ensure all social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube is updated and

monitored, generating and distributing all necessary press releases, league required statistics,

corresponding stories and features relating to the team. Additionally, responsible for game day

media at the stadium before, during and after matches. This will include manning the press box,

coordinating the press box personnel for the PA and scoreboard. There are 6-7 home matches

most on weekends or evenings. Attendance for our home matches is mandatory. Due to the

nature of sporting events this may require 6-7 day a week during the season. This is a 40 hour a

week position.

Job: Game Day Crew – Looking for volunteers to help out with game day duties for

the remaining 2016 season.

The Team – Vancouver Victory FC (V2FC) is in its third season as a fourth division

soccer club in the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) soccer tier playing minor

league soccer in the Evergreen Premier League Washington (EPLWA).

Responsibilities –Volunteer crew members will help with game day set up and tear

down at the venue, which include duties such as setting up and removing seating,

setting up and removing advertising signs, setting up and removing the

merchandise booth, setting up in removing equipment for the teams, setting up and

removing tents and canopies, other duties needed for home matches, etc.  Volunteer

crew members will need to be at the venue one and a half hours prior to kick off and

stay 30 to 60 minutes after the final whistle to help set up and teardown the venue.

Compensation – You will receive a set of season tickets and get some V2FC gear for the

help during the season.
